PULLMAN NATIONAL HISTORIC PARK
Alderman Beale has been working closely with Senator Durbin, other elected officials and the National Park Service to support the designation of the Pullman Historic District as a national park. This important initiative will recognize the significant historic contributions of the Pullman neighborhood to manufacturing, organized labor and the civil rights movement. A national park has the capacity to attract investment in our community's infrastructure and generate jobs through park operations and tourism.
