The 9th Ward and City of Chicago offer constituents a wide array of city services. From street sweeping to garbage pickup, and tree trimming to graffiti removal, we are here to assist you.

 

My ward service office staff can help you place City service requests, and update you on their status. Hal Eason, our 9th Ward Streets and Sanitation Superintendent, oversees all services provided by Streets and Sanitation, including street sweeping and garbage collection for buildings receiving City pickup. He takes a proactive approach to make sure our ward stays clean and building owners comply with city regulations.

Our office also coordinates infrastructure improvements throughout the ward. The most prevalent improvements are street resurfacing, sidewalk repair and replacement, and new streetlights.
